Never heard of that before.

And for those putting HID Pnps in their stock housings: it looks like shit, and you're blinding oncoming drivers near and far away from you.
I don't care how good you think your "cutoff" is. I see idiots driving around with these everyday... They probably think they look "badass". Sigh.

Actually I can name 2 cars off the top of my head that have HID setups with no projectors. First is the Toyota Avalon and second is the Cadillac Escalade.

Edit: Also JDM housings most likely don't have any shielding in the housing.

Cool, well now I know they exist. I wasn't saying they didn't exist btw, just that I haven't heard of them.

Doesnt justify shitty PNP kits by any means though.

HID headlamp with reflector housing do exist on many JDM models, and mostly they are an optional item.

Some of the models that are available with HID headlamps are Fit GD and GE, 1st gen Stream, Civic FD, Honda Inspire, Integra and many more.

The noticeable difference between HID and halogen housings are the small little tower inside the reflector near where the bulb is, and they have different reflecting properties from the standard halogen housing so they do not blind other drivers.

And that JDM headlamp will not fit into the USDM Fit, unless you want to change the headlamp mountings yourself (I tried mine, and it doesn't fit.)

should fit. my axis style tails came with a pair of adapters that directly plug in.

Taillights will definitely fit, it's just that depending on the type you get you'll have to get bulb adapters or new bulbs. On the JDM base tails for example, Im pretty sure you need to loosen one of the wires to allow the connector to reach the bulb.
