Sounds from lowing window in the heat???
My 2012 Fit sport front passenger and driver window is making sounds when i lower them. It happens only when is hot (75-85 degree). dont really know how to describe the sound, it sounds like the rail is not smooth, is a low pitch sound, maybe the heat causes something to expand? anyone experiencing this?
it sound something like this, but with a lower pitch.
oh and i do have the windows tinted, but it was fine until recently when the weather got warmer

Time to lube your window tracks. This will get a bunch of opinions as everybody has their own strong opinions on the subject.
But anyway I use silicone spray get a can with the skinny tube attached so you can direct the spray right down the track where the window rides with the window up first and it doesn't get all over the window.
Then run the window up and down a few times and see if the noise goes away. If it doesn't you may have to do it with the window down so you can get more spray on the track but the window may need a clean up of the excess.
Don't let the naysayers say this will ruin the rubber in the tracks I have been doing this forever on all my cars and never had a problem.

+1 for silicone spray. Make sure it's pure silicone (don't use WD40).

We all have those. Some have added some narrow weather stripping for house windows in the channels. I may try that.
