fan speed switch illumination burned out
The illumination for my air conditioning/fan speed switch is no longer back lit.
Any ideas on how to fix?
I still have illumination for the temperature and head/feet airflow switches.

Based on his join date it looks like he's had the car a while. Which means the light is burnt out.
The only way to replace the bulb is to remove the headunit and the climate control assembly. Then you can access the bulbs on the back which should just screw out with a flat head, I do not know what the part number is. You should be able to find the part by calling a dealership.
You need to be careful when you detach the pulley cables. The procedure for this is in the service manual.

Fan speed and other knob lights
Just did this. Used to
to replace the T5 lights behind the temp/fan/airflow knobs in my 2011 Fit. Use
to remove the radio first. Didn't have to remove the radio connectors, just pushed it up out of the way. Small fingers and needle nose was needed to twist out the T5 bulbs plugged into the rear of the knobs. Did not remove the wire cables but it would have been much easier if I had. All 4 bulbs are connected to one string of wires. 4th bulb is for the recirc slider light.
These are the light socket holes behind the knobs. 1/4 turn to pull out aligning the slots on the connector.
Here's the light string with the burned out bulbs showing the connector with the tabs that line up with the hold at the back of the knobs.
