Got a quote today $225 20% everything except the front driver and passenger. Not sure if I should go 20% looks great but worry about night driving. I know on the hatch it will look nice.

Problem is this place is the only game in town and are highly recommended. You went with 35% any particular reason and not a higher tint?

In wv anything darker than 35 wont pass inspection. Imo the real dark tint on front windows looks kind of ghetto. To each his own. I can post a pic once i edit the lic #. Just got my 2013 3 days ago.

i have a 2013 fit with nav tint place said i should use 3m because the cheaper tint is metalic and would interfear with my nav system. i did all windows 35% up front and 5% in the rear cost me $270 which was fair for good 3M tint.

Looks good and congrats!

We can go 32% in GA. Went 32% all the way around. I didn't do the strip in front. Not a fan.

Currently went "nay" with the tint after the shop called to confirm my appointment yesterday. First they could not explain the differences in tint that they offer as to heat blocking and signal enabling. Only the darkest by tint. Second they quoted $220 last week when they called to confirm I wanted confirmation of the price quote they said $315.

They really the only automotive tinting around here. So, I am going to check around the Dallas area when I am down there in June and see if I can get maybe Llumar CTX 50 and the prices for installation. I want the tinting for heat reduction more then just looks. And it is hard to have confidence in a installer who really does not know their product.

I'm getting mine tinted tomorrow. With only one semi warm day in the Boston area this week I can alreay tell that this car will get super hot in the summer (it must be a combination of all the windows and the black interior). I think I am going to go with 20% all around. I'll post pics of it when I get a chance.

Just make sure your a/c is working before having work done at distance, most recommend 1-2 days of windows staying up while the glue sets. NY you could get by without a/c but not Texas, also difficult to pay tolls without opening window. My installer put tape over the switch, I know he was right, felt that tape a couple of times over the 3 days he recommended.

I had mine done for $175, but I've brought 4 cars over the course of a few years and recommended a few more.

I have 5 percent all the way around. While not CA legal... i'm an old guy and we can get away with a lot.

The tint was the first modification I did to my Fit - had never tinted any other vehicle until the Fit. It looked so much better with the tint and I have no issues driving at night with it. Back in 2007 I paid 153.00 for mine, a time when things were little less expensive than they are now!

Thanks not a problem I can not have the front windows done due to NYS law. Got a quote on CTX50 from Speed Shield for $399 for the Fit does this sound good?

this law is rarely enforced in the city though, as i've seen some of the "licensed" TLC minivans have tinted all there windows. not sure about upstate.
