Auto-up window switch broken?

Auto-up window switch broken?
I'm a bit bummed. After 18 months of 100% trouble-free Fit ownership, my car is having it's first "broken part" moment.
Anyone else have trouble with the auto-up switch? It's like something trips the switch and kicks the window back down.
It works fine if I hold the switch up myself. But still, that's really annoying. Any ideas how to fix it? I think I'm beyond my bumper-to-bumper warranty (driven 42k miles).
Thanks!

It has a resistance sensing circuit that avoids decapitations (or de-pawifications). It needs calibrating. I'll look up the procedure and post it (hopefully it can be done without invoking the Honda electrical guy.

Did you purchase this vehicle new?
If so I think it would still be under warranty. It's basically 3 years bumper to bumper.
I think you've hit it on the head, it is as if something "trips the switch" and it starts to lower.
I believe these windows are designed to sense an obstruction and lower. Something may be tripping that sensor and/or that sensor might of become defective.
Obviously the easiest thing to do would be if under warranty have the dealership fix it.

3 year 36K bumper to bumper.
Here's the procedure to calibrate the anti-pinching function (no kidding that's what it's called). Haven't played with it but it doesn't require tools/instruments. pdf link

Thank you, Steve!

More than likely it's just crud in your window channels. The crud causes the window to need more force to go up and the "anti-cut your head off" system kicks in.
Simply lube your window tracks and this will go away. I use silicone spray but some people go nutzo over it's use and have their own recommendations.
But I have done mine as a matter of course with silicone spray every 5,000 miles as part of my normal maintenance and no problems none, nadda, zip, zero, zilch.
