U-Ace 3D Floor Liners KAGU - Warranty Update 05/03/2014
***** Update: Poor warranty service experience posted in this thread. Please read post #27. *****
***** Finally... a positive update to my denied U-ACE warranty claim. All due solely to Joe Rau's efforts at Auto Distributor Direct. Please read post #36. *****
I've been going back and forth about mats. I finally decided on the U-Ace 3D floor liners. I received them late today.
First impression out of the box. I'm truly impressed with the quality and finish of these liners. The 3D effect in the finish gives them a high end type look. I posted a couple of pictures. You can see the 3D effect in the pictures. The back of the liners has a material that U-Ace calls a MAXpider finish. This grips on to the OEM carpet so they won't slide around.
I'm too tired tonight to clean the interior and install them. I'll do that tomorrow and get some additional pics up then.
I bought this set for $134.32 shipped at Auto Distributor Direct
Joe Rau is an authorized dealer for U-Ace. He has the best deal on this set I could find. He answered all my questions via e-mail and shipped quickly. Overall Great experience. My liners shipped directly from the manufacturer.
These are the same as the Aries 3D liners, without the Aries branding. Tk3 posted about them in this thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ners-mats.html

Here are some pics installed. These are black and match the interior. Flash makes them look gray. I'll try to get some pics outside. They fit real well. Rear and passenger side fits perfect. Driver's side has small gap on right side middle of mat. Other folks reported this in Tk3's Aries thread. Not really noticeable and really no biggie. They look awesome!
They won't shift or move at all. It's like they stick to the carpet. That's awesome as well. Terrific product. You can tell a lot of thought went into these.

interesting, these also look very much like the Aries 3d floorliners I bought from AMAZON. Does the driver's side also have the slight gap to the right or (no gap)? If so I might buy a pair of the drivers side and passenger liner if it fits better.

Exactly the same. These are direct from manufacturer, without the Aries branding attached.

So far I'm really pleased with the 3D liners. They haven't shifted around or moved one bit. That is so awesome. Seem to be durable as well. Great product here and another set of mats to consider for the Fit.

Thank you! I called Joe and he called me right back, answered all my questions.
Turns out that he got my email when he was on the treadmill at the gym, thought there were way too many questions to answer on his smartphone, and never thought about it again.
My mats are on the way and should be here by Wednesday or Thursday of next week.

I got the whole set, that's what he has on his site and of course if I had bought just the front two on eBay or Amazon he would have had extra fees and such. I figured it would be best just to be done with it.
I got black, because he said that the gray ones are really pale and I didn't think I would like that. You just can't go wrong with black, though it's funny to type that since I got the Blue Vortex Fit. I pick it up tomorrow and just can't wait.

No Mats:
OEM Sport Mats:
New U-Ace Liner:

Where The Door Meets The Liner:
The Layers Of The U-Ace Liner:
Rear Coverage:
Under the rear magic seat, the coverage is nearly perfect:
With the front seat slid all the way forward, the coverage is quite good:[\B]
Problem Areas Of The Liners:
There is a small gap at the right side of the driver's mat that is a problem with the mold. It was just molded incorrectly here and there's nothing to be done. I don't think it's even close to a deal breaker and it is by far the biggest problem:
B]At the top of the dead pedal there is another gap that is a result of a slightly incorrect molding. Again, unless you have really big feet, covered with mud or ice, you probably won't have an issue with it:
If you press down at the bottom of the dead pedal, a gap will form to the left. This may be a problem if you were to step in (pressure) and your other foot slid in causing debris to fall in. Again, very, very minimal chance since the gap is virtually tiny:
There is a tiny little gap right at the bottom of the drivers seat. It is nearly unnoticeable:
On the passenger's side, there is a gap at the top left of the liner:
This could definitely be a problem if your passenger were to straighten their legs out and angle their right foot a bit:
