Rubber Shift Boot

The one in RI is good for any parts on Hondas, including extended warranties. They havve excellent parts diagrams.

I'm pretty sure the GD3 shift boot will work. Backwoods made it work on his 2010 Honda, though I'm not sure if the newer years are different interior wise than the 2009-2011.
I'll sell you an extra I have and you can try it out![Smile](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If you take the center console you should see where the shift boot is held in. On my car it's 3 screws.

i m trying to get one as well. i dont think anyone has tried gd gear boot on ge , nor there is any aftermarket rubber boot available for it. i am intending to buy a gd boot from wrecker and try it on, if i m charged for a reasonable price. i ll let u know the outcome after i tried it out.

So I tried putting the GD boot on the GE this weekend with less than acceptable results. My number one goal was to not cut anything, drill anything or add screws to anything.
Having said that, using the GD boot frame on the GE wouldn't work, because the GD frame is round and actually doesn't cover the hole all the way and leaves a gap, it's also too wide on the sides to fit without trimming the GE center console. So I tried putting the GD boot on the GE frame...
WELL, I got it on there but had to stretch the hell out of it. The rubber tab in the back of the GD boot didn't like being stretched that much and snapped. Still didn't look terrible to me so I thought i'd run it. Went to the store and the "accordion" action of the GD boot was binding when shifting to 5th, I think that was partially because of my shift knob though, which sits lower than stock and squishes the boot down.
I ended up tearing it off in the parking lot, function/form and all that.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Could it be done? Definitely if you want to maybe use a heat gun and stretch the boot out a little bit and add some screws or something into the base to hold the back of the boot down underneath the frame. I just didn't want to get into it that much...
I took pics of what I tried if anyone is interested. I'd like to know if someone successfully did this what they did and how it turned out.
