Nice thread, definitely helpful for a newbie Fit owner like myself. Though I passed on A/M parts and did OEM all weather floormats (have them in the wife's TSX and love them) and OEM vent visors. Very happy overall.

Thanks JKid, would definitely love to see those pics.

What exactly are the OEM vent visors? Carbon fiber interior panel?

*Edit for adding panel popper info and overall clarity

I like how those sills add an extra bit of protection that the OEMs don't have.

There's also the option of the door sills with LEDs.
Here's mine and also my rear footwell entrance lights (separate from and brighter than my ambient lighting), will get the front ones in soon.

I also have much more subtle ambient lighting in the footwell for when the dome is off. Name: photo-7.jpg

Someone else on here put small led strips in their door handles that faded in and out with the dome. Looks awesome, and I'll probably do that too.

Thumbs up

I have these same door sills with blue lighting "FIT" wired to the door switch so they light up whenever a door opens. I love them. Also, installing led under dash and seat lighting this afternoon. Went with the million color kit with a small remote so I can change the interior lighting to just about any color. I will probably keep the interior bathed in blue light most of the time!

I'm digging those lighted sills. Makes everything look very high end. I'm definitely planning on adding some ambient floor lighting like you have in the backseats. I switched my dome from blue to white because I felt like it was just too attention grabbing for me, so when I do my footwell lighting, it will be white. Your Fit looks fantastic and just shows me again how clean the Fit can look.

Ya this looks really nice. I think those lights, combined with a full interior job like this guy below would make me really happy.

Now who can I pay to get that done?

Man I can't wait to do this...I just need a good set of clip popping tools, and probably an extra supply of door clips just in case lol.

Here's a guy from Hong Kong that even put winkers in his handles haha.

Wiring to the dome would be perfect for these, cause the dome already does a nice fade in/out.

I was thinking of putting soft white or blue LEDs on the bottom of the door panel while I was at it. That with the door handles, and the entrance footwell lights... Think it's too much? Not just in terms of looks, but also the load on the dome light circuit...

I'm not sure about the load on the dome circuit, I can imagine it being stressed with all the extra lights. I also like how he did the two whiteish/yellow looking lights going at diagonal angles on the outsides of the fog lights. I think with just those lights, the front end starts looking like a lexus. I'm not a huge fan of the way he did the blue led bars at the bottom of the front bumper, I think red ones, attached in the same position but on the rear bumper, and wired to the Foglight switch on the steering wheel, would offer classy looking rear fog lights.

[QUOTE=pocketrocket69;1160433]5. HID foglights. The foglights on the Fit are actually positioned very well, and actually functional.

QUOTE]

How does HID fog lights look with stock headlights?

I am also guessing for fog lights, it'll be 3000K HID's correct?

I have not seen them on a fit but I have seen them on other cars and I personally do not like the look. I think it looks much better if you switch the headlight to Silverstar Ultras though. The extreme white of the headlights looks much better with the slightly blueish HID fogs.

It also occurred to me that I haven't given out any rep, so I repped everyone in the thread who helped make it what it is.

Hi,

Which modification would you guys choose first out of tires, wheels, and springs?

Welcome to Fitfreak. If you don't already like your wheels, get new ones. The only reason I'm not considering rims for myself is because I kind of like my sport wheels so I don't mind waiting a couple years for new wheels. I'm pretty sure that most veteran owners say that lighter wheels is number 1, then better tires, followed by springs. And in 4th is an RSB.

Hi, and thanks! I do like my sport wheels, but there are some other wheels that I like better. I have been reading about how the stock dunlops are basically junk though. So I was really trying to decide between either wheels, or tires to upgrade first. So most people get wheels first, then tires? A lot of comments on the Continental ExtremeContact DWS which would be the tires I would get. As far as wheels the Buddy Club ones look nice. But which would give me a bigger benefit?

Edit for Table of Contents, Performance Engine Modifications Section, CAI Info. And overall re-ordering.

Great thread!

I'm adding U-Ace 3D Floor Liners and the VG Shark Fin Antenna as worthy considerations.
