Honda Care Extended Warranty

Honda Care Extended Warranty
.
Hello, my wife has her 3rd Fit, a 2011 Fit Sport, about 2 years old with about 28,000 miles (bought new). I was looking to buy a "Honda Care Extended Warranty". Do any Honda dealers sell that particular warranty on this web site ?
I have been a member of TacomaWorld for several years and several Toyota dealers will sell the original "OEM Toyota Extended Platinum Warranties" for a fraction of the cost at the local dealers. Not interested in any other extended warranties other than "Factory OEM Honda Care" for her Honda Fit.
I used the "search button" here, but found nothing ... thanks in advance ... SOS ...
PS: These cars are fantastic ... only 1 complaint ... OEM Dunlops are horrible and this tire size is not offered by many tire companies.

I work for a Honda dealer, and lemme tell you. The Honda VSC is the best deal. All authorizations up to 500.00 can be done in dealer without having to call for an auth number. Labor ops and parts coverage can be determined on the spot. Aftermarket companies while great on average.........you have to call for labor, parts auth. Sometimes they dont auth. OEM parts! If I had to buy one, I would buy that. This is from somebody who deals with them pretty consistent.........way to go.

Bernardi Honda offers the corp honda extended warranties online. I remember reading their prices are reasonable.
They are available until the 36k 3yr factory warranty runs out.
I don't think any extended warranty is worth it, unless it's free.

Also check out Honda Care Vehicle Service Contract from Saccucci Honda
Fill out the form on the website and they will email you quote.
I agree with that I will not be buying it on my Fit. The car is fairly simple and even if major things break it won't be crazy costly to fix. My Odyssey on the other hand I'm nervous about all the electronics and the poor history of Honda's automatic transmissions mated to the V-6 (my fit is a manual).
Edit: Here is the direct link to the form.

Ever wonder why dealers push the extended warrantees so much once they get you into the financial office to close the deal? I had to finally stop talking, look ther "financial guy" in the eye for a few seconds, and almost growl "I SAID I DON'T WANT IT" after he had kept pushing it after I had said no twice politely.
They don't sell them because it gets them less money than if you just go with the standard coverage and in the unlikely chance that something that would be covered goes bad just pay to get it fixed. Some dealerships might be ok, but I've read too many stories of repairs not being covered for minor reasons, that one expected they'd be protected against.

Before buying a extended warranty, ask for a copy and read the fine print. There will be some exclusions. If you don't have most of your maintenance done by the dealer be prepared to prove that someone has performed the required maintenance. You maybe surprised at what is not covered.

03-15-2013 ... Update ... Wife ended up trading her Fit (3rd one) for a 2013 Honda Civic last week, so that took care of the extended warranty issue.
The 2013 Honda Civic changed a lot from the revised 2012 model and she seems to like it.
The Honda Fits are great cars and I wish all of you and your Fits well.
Later ... and thanks again for the advice ...

Honda Extended Warranty
National Repair Solutions | Extended Vehicle Service Contracts seemed legit. Called other companies, they had the same coverage, just cheaper. Hope that help!
