Hello my fellow Fit owners. My Wife and I purchased a brand new 2013 Polished Metal Metallic Fit with 5 miles on it. My name is Ace and looking forward to greeting everyone here. Currently residing in NC from CA.

 

Also I would like to ask why Honda didn't make FITs with factory tint like Scion's XB.

 

Does anyone from NC know what the legal tint is to tint the back windows for our car? 35% is the legal tint here in NC. But I would like to go 20% in the back windows.

 

I called some the local tint shops and they said that it has to be 35% all around since its not considered a "multi-passenger" vehicle, just a 4door sedan?

 

Are there anyone from NC here that would like to post some pics of there cars with 35% tint and 20% tint so I can compare. Tint is on my next list I would like to do.

 

Welcome o the boards. FYI, when you post, there is an Edit button at the bottom of your post so you can update it if not much time has gone by.

Search the forums for Tint, especially in the Pictures and videos section and you'll see plenty of Fits with Tinted windows.

not from NC but here's a picture of my recently done tint (this past weekend)

30% on the rear passenger doors, and 20% on the hatch and rear tiny windows


I'll show a better photo later.

I didn't tint the front passenger / driver side windows as it's not really legal here in California and if you run into a 'bored' cop he may give you a ticket.
