Hey guys,

I am looking to buy a set of All-weather floor mats for my Fit. My car already has the carpet mats, and the driver side has the mat anchored down. I know the OEM honda all weater mats use the same anchor to prevent them from sliding around, but I don't like that they don't cover that much area in the diver side.

I was looking at the Weathertech All-weather mats which seem to provide much more coverage. But, are these mats compatible with the same anchor system? I hate mats that slide around.

they dont use the same lock down ties.

Its a toss up. I have the Honda mats and love that they lock down but replaced them for the weathertech so that I could get better coverage. the drivers mat shifts around from time to time. was thinking about a mod that would make use of the lock down feature but havent gotten around to it.

 

I went with the Husky Liners, covers the entire driver's floor, indentations for anchors, not needed as fit is so tight and the liners somewhat rigid. Very happy with fit, time will tell with durability. Lifetime warranty,except for normal wear and tear, what a joke, what else happens to floor mats. Link in post somewhere on this site.

I have the weather tech digital fit and they have indentations for the locks which act more as a locator. The drivers side moved some when I had it over the carpet mat, but after removing the carpet mat it stays with no problem. I love mine.
