Can not open one rear door (driver side) from inside using Door Handle. Have to open door from outside to 'release' passenger. All other doors work fine, as does central locking.
When lift door handle to open, get no sound and feels smooth. All other doors get slight 'catch' just as you lift handle and then door opens.
Is it self fixable or do I have to replace whole door handle housing and get dealer to sort out?
BTW, 4 months outside warranty - car is 3 years 4 months 2nd generation old

 

Did you make sure the child safety lock was disengaged?

 

No kiddies in this car, only dear old Ma! Child safety lock is disengaged - the passenger side rear door works perfectly, its just the rear driver side door with problem.

 

I have the same issue with my 2011 Sport. Just noticed it a few months ago, a few months out of warranty. Not sure if you ever got this resolved, but I'd be curious to know what happened.

 

OP. I would ask Honda if they would do it as so close to end of wty period.

Cthulhu is yours the driver side rear or passenger? If driver side then maybe a common failure Honda may fix beyond wty.
