New Fit owner!
Hello Fit Freaks! We just purchased a new-to-us 2009 Fit Sport Navi! This will be my wife's daily driver and she fell in love with the Fit at first sight. I also love the lines of the car, Honda did a great job with the design, and the interior is nicely laid out. I really like the feel of 'spaciousnes' when you get behind the wheel.
So far I am really impressed with the car...it's got great room, the way the seats configure is awesome, and the gas mileage has been good so far. We live in Chicago, but flew to NYC to buy it from a private seller. The car had 26,700 miles when we got it, and we got what I think was a great deal at $12,500.
We averaged 34-35 mpg driving it home while on cruise control at 77 mph. I'm sure at 65 mph we would have been even better, but I was willing to trade the mpg's for some time. I was more than happy with 34-35 mpg. I also love how it drives...it feels solid, handles extremely well, stock radio sounds pretty good, the navi is nice, and it's quiet at cruise speeds. Plus, for a 1.5L with only 117 hp, it gets pretty decent pick up. Even while on cruise control through the hills of Pennsylvania on the drive home the car easily maintained 77 mph and didn't have to kick down that much. Overall, beyond happy with our purchase!

Thanks guys! So far loving the Fit, very glad we bought it. I especially like the fact that it's small, yet it has tons of room to haul something if needed.
Ha ha, good eye! Yeah I kind of botched that after the test drive. I wanted to pull it in closer by going over the curb and back down and botched it . Thankfully the curb was low and didn't contact the rim!

Thank you Cat and kenchan
Thanks! Yes, I work at O'hare for United Airlines so the flight didn't cost me anything. Just some time and approximately $100 in gas Oh, and tolls. I actually didn't expect it to be so high. Not a big deal, but I think I spent around $20 in tolls! I couldn't find a regular sport with those miles at that price point locally...the fact that this one was a clean car, had low miles, was a sport, and nav sealed the deal for me.
