New 2013 SPort Question On Paint
Just curious, We noticed in all the wheel wells you could see light paint over spray. At first I thought they may have repainted something but it's in all four wells and I was doubtful the entire car was repainted.
I'm guessing that it's just the way it is or??? Anyone else??

It is not over spray. The vast majority of car owners couldn't be bothered to wash their cars on a regular basis much less notice that Honda skimped on the paint job in the wheel wells. You are noticing that the color your car is painted doesn't quite cover the entire wheel well.
Piss poor yes. Normal for our Fits? Yes again. Lots of Fit Freaks have taken matters into their on hands and painted them. Others have fashioned there own wheel well fenders out of different materials such as a rubber trash can. Works well using existing mounting points.

A lot of it is Honda trying to prioritize what is important to the majority of owners. Then they put the money towards that!
Do you know what the number one item a consumer will rate a cars quality on while shopping is?
The number one thing a consumer will judge a car's quality during a test drive is how the door sounds when it is closed. If it feels like you are closing the door to the space shuttle ( insert vacuum seal woosh) the consumer feels he is buying quality. On the other hand if it feels like two tin cans banging against each other...(think Toyota Corrolla)
We have $16k-$20k cars. We just shouldn't expect Mercedez type paint jobs.
