2013 FIT Base, steel wheels
Looking to buy a set of (cheap) wheels for 2nd set, snow tire thing. Who sells steel wheels for a 2013 FIT. Honda wants about $100/wheel for stock steel wheel. FInding only alloy wheels.

Do they have to be steel wheels? Craigslist will be your best friend, especially in Flemmy area as philly & NYC aren't too far away. look for 4x100 Honda Civic, Acura Integra 15" alloy rims. I drove about 200 miles (round trip) to pick up a set for $50 plus trade of an unused civic strut tower brace.

ya know, your'e right, technically, they don't have to be steel, low cost is the main driver as these will be a set used only for snow tires.
Honda lists the base 2013 FIT as using 5.5 wide rims (vs 5 for 2012), I was concerned more narrow rims might interfer with something. If this is not true then it opens more possiblities.
It started because tirerack doesn't offer a steel wheel for the 2013 FIT, which gave me the impression steel wheels from previous years might not work.

As far as I know, the 2011 base had 15x5.5 rims. The stock tires were 175/65r15, is that the same as the 2013? If so have I got a deal for you. I have a set of four with TPMS and OEM Dunlops with only 10k miles on them. I was looking for $200 for the set and am in Andover, NJ.

America's Tire has steel wheels for $55/ea
Unique custom wheels for your 2012 HONDA FIT in the S.F. East Bay Area - Discount Tire/America's Tire
Alternatively, I would try checking around Craigslist for 14 or 15 inch Honda steel wheels, I see them on there ALL the time.
x25's wheels might be a good deal for you too though since it includes the TPMS sensors which are expensive in their own right. I doubt the stock Dunlops will be any good in the snow though, they were no good for me when it was dry, but you can always change them out and sell the tires on Craigslist (I did end up selling them to a Xb owner for $60)

I've got 185/60 winter tires mounted on 15x6 steelies from a (IIRC) '04 Civic, work fine with no interference. Up to 6" wide shouldn't be any problem, since the Sport rims are 16x6.
