not when Honda's paying for it. Besides, I thought AGM's don't do well in cold weather?

You must be much closer a dealer than I am. I'm two and a half hours from where I brought the Fit and over a hour from the closest dealer who would not deal with me.

And AGMs are excellent in the winter. Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA): Gelled Electrolyte (gel) and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries. I have two in my motorhome that run over $500 each. Did my home work before buying them. They are much easier to maintain than wet cell batteries and are superior under extreme cold conditions when fully charged. And they charger quicker that a wet cell battery. When I replace the Fit battery, it will be with a AGM, and I not talking about the Optima Blue or Red Top!

The battery supplied with my 2013 Fit, a 151R rated at CCA 340, is about the same size as the one on my zero turn 21HP lawn mower. It appears that they engineered it to just keep up with the vehicle's demand. And in sub 0 temps, night driving, it will barely keep up with demand while running headlights, wipers, and high heater and top that off with the radio.
