Yeah! so excited!!!
Sorry but I have to share.
On Monday I have an appointment with a local feller who is going to detail my car with regards to paint finish.
I found him on a racing forum here in Montreal. He uses all kinds of fancy waxes.
I have had all kinds of cars in my life but this is the first that I actually give a rats ass about. Imagine that- my Fit.
What I like the most about this feller is that he really seems to give a *hit. We talked for a bit on the phone. I told him about how much I like my Fit and it may not be a porsche or a slimmy BMMer but none the less I look after it.
I get to stay the whole time and he said he would teach me a few things. I said I would be willing to come see him a few times a year. He said his work lasts on average a year so no need to waste my money. He said he can make his fun money off of the stupid BMW owners.
He liked all my little mods and he said he could tell I cared about my car.
Ah sometimes...Karma.
Ok well I will clean the crap out of my interior on Sunday as I go see him on Monday.
I think it's going to be great to have a professional polish and wax job.
On another note I visited a reputable shop today as well. As my parts come in over the winter they will be glad to install them for me. Some things I want to do myself like the Spoon N1 silencer but the Spoon calipers, rotors and brake lines well....I will leave that up to the pros.
He showed me some pretty awesome Konig rims...I was eyeing the lightweight line-up but then I saw these machined lipped ones with a nice red stripe.....oooooooh so torn!
Anywho...I prefer boxing (Manny Pacquiao) and the Yankees (Jeter and Swisher are my favs) but UFC is in Toronto so I figure I would support it and pay my 50$ to watch...
I will take all kinds of pics on Monday and share. Night' all!

As a fellow Yankees fan, I recommend you avoid Konigs. This is not about knockoff vs. real, all the people I've met personally and many of the people I respect online who have owned Konigs have horror stories with them.

Ok then! At 200$ a pop I was not expecting miracles. They were lightweight.
You know that I am having a hard time figuring out a suitable wheel purchase...
Seems like all the ones people really recommend are the $700 per wheel versions....jeez.
So shoot me a PM with a reputable 17" wheel that would look nice on a 2012 sport. Something in a good price range. Lighter that OEM or else what's the point really?

Two part polish
One part sealer
One part Wax
Polished all my windows
Polished all my plastics (visors , lights, deflector)
6 hours later
This guy was a real pro. I am very happy with this little treat I provided to my Fit.
He put the Crystal back into CBP. No more swirley's.....
Take note of the intensity of the sunlight on the wheels and rims. Puts the results in perspective...Sorry I'm not a better shutterbug!
