You mean like the Modulo side skirts?

I think some one did them on the OEM side skirts... I know the GD guys used to go crazy with the LED lighting.

Aside from that iirc, I read one or two people did it on the side mirrors. Have no idea which thread(s)...

EDIT: Or there's the the LED Door sills that quite a few people got . The aftermarket ones have front & rear sills illuminated; OEM only front. I don't think anyone's mounted LED's on the bottom part of the actual doors..... yet.

on the door panel. my concern is more on the power source for the LED.

Most of the people who did the "courtesy light" either sills, or side skirts/side mirrors tapped the dome light circuit.

IIRC, Black3sr posts up the pic occasionally of the wires to tap by the fuse box, but ofcourse I can't find it right now, it's probably buried in his build thread https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tml#post841241

There was another thread recently which mentioned tapping the door trigger, but not sure how that would be done.

Here I am.

There is one plug under dash with pink and blue wires. They are the dome light circuit.

If you lights go on the door then you will have to pull the wiring through the black hose between the door and jamb most likely. Fun. I did it for my winkers here -

I thought about getting and underbody light kit but only using the sides and run them to the dome light. Just picked up some illuminated sill guards instead. What did you buy that has the harness already?

Nice add-on Evil... Kinda reminds me of the pillar mounted turn signal flags on Japanese cabs in the old days... Very Japanese...

Those pillar mounted flag turn signals weren't just Japanese...my neighbor in the 60's had a 1950 VW, which used them for directionals. I also saw vehicles in England in '68 that used them.

My Dad had an old Thames panel wagon from circa '48. It had the arms that came out when they worked. English eh.

I've got LEDs inside my door handles that light up w the dome light when I unlock my car. Shine some light on the ground and help you see what your reaching for. I posted a video on YouTube. Gotta see if I can find it
