I disagree. I've had good dealings with 4 different Honda/Acura Dealers (2 honda, 2 acura) and have only had an issue with 1 other dealer.

Our current one has gone WAAAY out of their way to take care of my wife and I. We've had 4 vehicles serviced there regularly.

It depends on the dealer and how they want to do business... not Honda dealers in general.

if honda is to do the work...they order the parts. you probly confused them by going about it that way.

with that said, they still suck balls.
Because one of the inept service writers asked me to do so they got the correct thing. The service writer and transferred my call to parts. When parts was done they transferred me back to service again to schedule the appointment. These two people sit about 30 feet away from each other by could not communicate between themselves without outside help.

I could have wasted a 1/2 day and a 70 mile round trip drive taking it in to let a tech order the parts. I chose to make a 5 minute phone call.

The second parts were ordered by the Service manager without my help and they still could not get it straight.

I got my Honda from right Honda and they were always polite quick and no fuss. I originally checked out fits at showcase Honda. When I didnt buy that day they emailed me constantly trying to sell me all sorts of other cars after telling them I only wanted an s2000 or fit.

I just may have been the day you went in on he was low on quota and was trying hard to bring it (its thier job) other than that ive always had good service from my honda dealers even my ford dealer has gone out of his way to help me.

as for discount tire someone mentioned, I buy almost all my tires there because of thier service, price and how fast they get things done. All my other tires come direct from falken

Why would anyone with an ounce of intellect want to be a part of your opinions discussion? Go back and play in your sandbox.

If grownups cry that "dealerships rip us off" and its childish dunces who don't allow dealerships to touch our cars agree but take action towards obtaining the knowledge the dealerships have to serve ourselves. Well ill stay a child pass the dunce cap and point me to the sandbox

I forgot about Right Honda. Arrowhead, Bell and Showcase are definite no-no's. Have to give Right a try when Honda comes out with another sporty car, if they do.

Funny. I have a recent story that I posted in another forum regarding my recent experience with a dealer...

Bought s2k from Honda dealer 100miles away. Warrantied for 2 years, 24k miles. Drive car home that night. Next day car overheats. Dealer has car towed to a local dealer in the city i live in and provides me rental. Dealer feels bad and extends my warranty to 3 years, 36k.

1 week goes by and I get my car. Drove home from work that night and temperature gauge shoots up. I wait and it goes down while I'm driving. Stays steady 40mins later till i got home. I woke up extra early that morning to see if car still shows sign of overheating. It did. *Car gets towed to dealership.

Drove back to dealership to pick up rental. (i should note that i live 40miles from the dealer and another 40miles from the dealership to my work). Dealer calls me same day. Said they got problem fixed. Radiator cap was wrong so car was losing pressure. Went back next day to pick up car. Drove car about 50 miles and temp spikes a little but never went up. Got home and slept it off. Next day wife takes car to get an alarm installed. Overheats. Car gets towed to dealer.

GM gives me two options, find independent mechanic to get it checked and he'll pay for it or return car. I told him I'll get it checked first and if it's anything major I'll return it. GM agrees.

Got car towed to an S2k specialist recommended by s2ki forum. Day goes by and he finds so many things wrong with the car. Car has been in a major accident despite having clean carfax. Vin numbers of Front and back bumpers don't match. Elbow hose to radiator was TAPED. Another hose was not even clamped *down. I returned the car.

I owned the car over three weeks and only driven it 3 times. Each time after driving it i had to get it towed. Car spent more time on tow trucks than on the road. I have three pics of the car. All on flatbeds.

Now I drive a Honda fit. It fucking rocks.

Wetphoto sir,
I have absolutly zero respect for you. I will appologize for my grammer, sometimes I forget punctuation counts. I am also sure you will find something about this post to highlight as I believe it to be how you segway away the facts presented. You wont come to my thread, where you are more than welcome to call me names or belittle my intelligence. Perhaps we might see a glimpse of that superior mind you posses and all the great knowledge you keep all to yourself.

Having zero respect from you is a badge of honor. And I won't bother to correct your numerous errors in your last post.

Oh my. I have been bested. I only wanted you to share your knowledge with us. Now my feelings are hurt so I shall just give up and hide from you. You have every right to piss in this forums face. Funny this all started because I suggested you might not be experienced with the fits suspension and modifying it. Which I know now was wrong because of all the facts you've submitted in defense. So one question answer it and I go away
Exactly how much experience do you have with automotive suspension?

um....this would be a nice discussion if not for joey_fits....and in all honesty, OP, you just keep egging him on. ignore him. it works for everyone else.

Anyway, is Right Honda the one on FLW over in Scottsdale? I almost bought my fit new from them. Their sales team was great. Fair price, nothing 'added on' without my asking. Ended up buying a used one with 8k on it. Saved all my sales tax.

The dealer in Flagstaff is ok. I will take it to them once in a while when it's convenient (mostly a saturday, cause my regular shop isnt open then). They always try to upsell me stuff, but they aren't really pushy. The last time it was tires and filters. Which, the car did need (did the filters on my own, and the tires from discount tire). What I do find humorous is the oil change sticker they put in the corner of my window that shows it due in 5k miles. Car has 130k on it and it has had 12 oil changes.

Joey and his small band of smart A's try to hijack a lot of threads. I think it is best to just challenge them, instead of slinking away. Maybe not the best tactic, but I am fed up with them. I will have to go to Right Honda and give them a chance, thanks.

Can we have an air freshner discussion next? Oooo or a where do you put your change? I leave as soon as the question is answered or I receive an appology for all the less than savory things I've been called. @ smaglik this thread is a rant, no need to take sides. I simply pointed out that there was absolutly no solution to this "problem" and mr. Photo started s**t flinging. I said I'm sorry, walked away as was treated like a jerk so I'm now a jerk to one member.
