+13 Offset. Am I asking way too much?

So I've got a deal for some BBS Weaves 4x100 from an E30. But the funny thing is the offset is +13 on the wheels. I mean DAMN THAT'S HOT!

My car is currently at stock height, but I've got some Bilstein Coilover Kits on order and they're coming to me Mid-October. I'm planning to drop them. Not planning to do any fender re-work either.

So am I asking for way too much? I mean this is a damn aggressive fitment. BUT THE PRICE IS A STEAL!

So YAY OR NAY?

I still have to get how wide the wheels are. They might be too wide to fit...

+38 offset Swift springs and 205-50-16" tires caused me a lot of grief on my GD3... I know people will do whatever it takes to use crazy offsets and wide wheel/tire combos but I have never understood why... I sometimes think that they must hate their cars.

Link to actual wheels?

I've never seen an E30 basketweave with that low of an offset before.

So no e-mail back yet. But I'm kinda skeptical on the +13 offset now that I'm thinking about it. It might be a +33 offset. But the guy says it's +13. I mean they look pretty boss. I'm guessing it's BBS RA's.

And for your info...

I am not planning to do stupid tire stretches or do ridiculous camber to make wheels/tires fit. That is not good for the tires at all and I think it's a safety hazard.

I'm just asking, doing research, and it's not a finalized deal yet. So yeah...

That's because your tires were way too tall.

you can go like -5 on the ge people always cry about staying at like 45+ offset. if you're a thug, pull your fenders enough to fit the wheel and stretch the tire to fit it. if all else fails, camber.

Here are the final specs: +13 offset and the wheels are 15x7.

I've got a chance to make this happen. I'd have to drive to the land of Canada in Kelowna from Seattle, Washington. It's a 5+ hour drive and about 300+ miles but I'm down to get some fresh wheels. I'm just not sure how much they'll poke out... Hopefully not too much.

What if you're not thug? How can it work? Can I cast like a magic spell on it and it'll fit? Or can I just get the Mexi-poke style?

They would work if you were nice and low + camber + fender work. Without that you're going to be:

\

For comparison this was me at +40 on Swifts:

Those are BBS Mahle wheels. Someone painted the lip black. Not sure if they were originally E30 wheels but they did come in 4x100 15x7 ET13.

They're somewhat rare, but you can find them. They were made in a bunch of different sizes and offsets.

from -52 to -13 mm offset? Thats putting the tire centerline 1.5" farther from the hub face than stock. Just for fun put a 1.5" thick disc on the outside of your existing tire and see if the disc gets even close to being in the fender well. You can make the disc of cardboard or styrofoam. And that presumes the target weheels are same rim width as your existing. Add half inch per inch or increased rim width for that.
Of course you can cut away the fender and attack deep flared fenders but ....
stick with 45 mm offset minimum especially if you're going toi lower.
Thge poster who had the long naaaaaa ... y didn't make it long enough.

WRONG!!! It was the sidewalls making contact with the fender wells even with coilovers set as high as they would go with 3/4"of very dense rubber spacers cut from matting used in horse stables... Mounted on 1/2" narrower wheels with 45mm offset minus the spacers and adjusted 1/2 inch lower and using less damping, all is fine. Don't you guys take the added stress on the wheel bearings, tie rods ends, ball joints, control arm bushings struts and strut towers into consideration before doing what all is entailed and the end results?
