Question 2010 Fit starting to idle bad

I have had my 2010 honda Fit for a year now (bought used). The car has 40,000 miles on it and it has begun idiling bad as i come to a stop after starting it. It does it when I just start the car...no matter in AM, afternoon or PM. Can someone help me determine if thi si sa big project or an easy fix. I am considering trading in the car as I just invested over $500 in the air conditioning to replace the exchange valve. Between that, the new tires and the alignment it seems I have done nothing but put $ into a fairly new car.

If anyone has experienced the idiling issue please help!!

Let us forget the money spent on an alignment and tires. Any car with 40k miles on it could require that kind of expense. You probably paid too much for the A/C repair, but that is water over the dam. Please provide a more detailed explanation of the idle problem. Does it idle roughly just after you start a cold engine (You mention that it idles roughly after it comes to a stop)? Once the engine warms up does the problem go away?

One of the immediate things you can do is to buy gasoline from a different gas station. Then note if the problem goes away.

Also check air filter- replace if filthy, and check spark plug gap measurements. If worn, replace.

I looked up on the recall website and it says that was already done on my car before I purchased it...I have been putting a grade higher gas from a differant station and put through the gas/fuel injection and carb cleaner through the system.

In the AM I start my car, backing out of my driveway and every stop sign or light I get to before the expressway the car feels like it is going to stall. I drive 15 miles on the expressway fine, then at lunch every stop/light it sputters again. Finally it sits from about 12:30 to 4:00PM in the parking lot and when I leave at 4 it does it again until I get to the expressway where I dont stop (most days)
