Switching base model steelies to Fit Sport Wheels

Hello everyone.

I just bought Fit Sport wheels, and will be putting them on my base model soon (getting the most out of the current tires).

Will I need to do an offset or are they direct replacements? I notice sometimes that when my wheel is fully turned in either direction I will get a little tire rub, so I want to just want to make sure I know what to do to make a proper switch considering that the tire size will be going up from 175 to 185-195?.

I did a search, and didn't come up with anything.

Thanks for the info! Do you think I will need to make any adjustments from the stock steelies?

If you're rubbing w/ a stock suspension, it's just your imagination...you'll be fine.

+1

As an FYI, 205/50R16 will also work on stock Sport wheels as well without any rubbing, and gives you a little meatier tire, more contact patch, better pricing and more options.
