GE8 w/ HRE Wheels and Eibach Coilovers
A couple shots of my brand new '12 GE8 Sport MT with all new HRE C96S wheels in 18x7.5 ET45 Front and ET36 Rear both with 215/35-18. The wheels are a special version of their brand new C96S (this version made just for cars with 100 mm PCD). The Eibach coil-overs are also a brand new Pro Street-S for the GE8 (similar to CR-Z setup with a different spring rate) P/N 4081.711. Front 225 lbs/in, Rear 275 lbs/in. Kits should be available in a couple weeks.
The coilovers are awesome. Adjusting camber is a super easy in the front (and needed with the 18x7.5 ET45 to get rid of some pretty serious rubbing). The handling is obviously stiffer but not too stiff or too bouncy. It gets rid of that really weird unsettled wobble under severe cornering that you experience upon turn-in in the stock setup. This is my daily driver and I regularly have kids in baby-seats in the back so I dropped it only about 1.5-1.7 inches and I absolutely love it.
Added some really killer tint and a black vinyl roof, thanks to SD Motorsport!
Now if only it had another 50 hp!
Pics from HRE's huge Open House this weekend (I didn't take the photos, just snaked them from HRE's FB page).

Welcome to Fitfreak! Car is looking stellar. I think you have the first fit with HRE wheels that I've seen. If you like cornering you can also ad a progress rear sway bar. Inexpensive and super easy to install.
HREs on a fit. That's awesome!

Wheels coming in only 18/19/20. HRE doesn't do a lot of 16. Some 17 but even that is pretty low volume given the price of HREs.
BTW, why did my photo end up pulling the width of this thread across the screen 2 feet? What did I do wrong?

I think there are a couple more Fits out there with HREs so I'm not the first.

Comfort? What's comfort??
Actually it isn't nearly as bad as I expected. The coilovers make it livable as a daily driver.

HAHA Im with you there. I just decided that I wanted to show up my VW friends on air that I can go lower than they can. But seriously your car is super clean. One day I hope I can afford some HRE's.

[QUOTE=HRE_AP;1116445]Lookin good! Are those a one off wheel or can will all HRE's be drilled to fit our car? Also can you make them in 17s?

[QUOTE=hybridctr;1117204]They are a modified version of a new C96S but they're not a one-off. They're available for sale. As for 17" they're currently only offered in 18". Hard to find a market in 17" that works with the price point. We are looking at some new 1pc 17" wheels soon though.
