Power lock issue

Power lock issue
Greetings all!
I have my power locks set so that they all lock when I drive, and all unlock when I shut off power. I recently began hearing a bit of a whine whenever it was time to unlock, mainly coming from the front passenger door.
I had this issue before and it was fixed while still under warranty. The problem I am now facing is with the hatch. It doesn't always unlock, and since it is a Sport, that pretty much means no hatch access.
Any of ya'll have experience with this? Ideally, the dealer would look at it and tell me that they'll take care of it, no charge (even though it's waaaay out of warranty). Realistically, I'm hoping that it is either an easy self-fix or a cheap mechanic one.
Thanks for any help!

the rear lock assembly is $88 plus shipping from majestic (this is on my 09 base, might be a different part for yours). It should be a pretty easy install. The front doors would be a little more work and the mechanism is about $150. I'd probably wait for it to fail (my rear psgr door has been whining since I got it).
I doubt I could charm my service manager into good-willing it.
