Best coilovers for Daily Driving?

Well w/ any drop you have to consider offset/rubbing. However, I can only speak to my final decision on coils: Tein Street Basis. I took the information and experience from users on this forum and used it to research w/ local shops, manufacturers, and fitfreak vendors what would best help me accomplish my goals. The Koni's were a close second, but even the Koni vendor suggested that for my goals the Tein's were probably the best fit. Depending on how the Koni's are modified I feel that they might last a bit longer. However, the Tein's are rebuildable for $75 a corner by the factory. They suggest this every 35,000 miles. I think for my needs I just couldn't justify spending $600 more on Koni's. I can totally understand those w/ more advanced setups and realize that the Tein's are partially just $ going for the name. However, I felt like they were the most reasonable/safe bet for me.
Edit: In short, I don't think you can go WRONG w/ Tein but I think the argument from several users is that you can go much BETTER. I just don't really need better.

Best ones: AMR Engineering. Hand made in Seattle, WA. Made of high quality parts and it beats the warranty of any other coilovers. The owner pushes customer satisfactory. Plus, it's custom made to any set up you ask him to. I'm getting a set made for my Fit. Specifically for daily driving. Check them out man. I'm pretty sure you'll be definitely interested.

Yeah amr cost too much, tomorrow I'll check a local tein importer. If it's up to $1500 I'll get tein otherwise buddy club n+. Good feed back in ozhonda :-)

We'll find out. I do find it strange that my performance shop, the Koni rep, and multiple forums don't thinks so...but if that is the case I've been warned.

For daily, I was set on the Bilstein's especially with their quality & warranty, but now waiting on what's happening with the Koni's... otherwise I'll still get the Bilstein's.
Would love those J's Racing (especially the Crux) or HKS, but damn expensive though.

I can't really add anything yet, but I just ordered the Bilstein PSS kit yesterday. My stock dampers and Tanabe DF210 springs are beat (and as a result, so are my fender liners). Just drove 600 miles on them, and dear god was that miserable. I know the Bilsteins should last, and they are, to my knowledge rigorously tested for comfort and performance on our cars. If they're good enough for the B-spec, they're good enough for me.
Now, my concern, similarly to yours, is the range of height adjustments. I'm running 15" wheels and 205/50/15 S.drives.
I really just want to maintain my current height, which is a 1.5" drop front and 1.8" drop rear, as per Tanabe's data. I think the Bilsteins max out at 2" front and rear, so I don't think I'll have a problem, but seeing other people's photos has me a little worried.

Max drop on them is ~2" (1.96 to be exact), so you should have no problem maintaining your stance.

I've been on the Bilsteins for about a week and a half now and am quite pleased with them. I'm getting a pop from the left front that's driving me mad but have identified the problem (perch) and am working to correct it with a buffer.
These with the addition of a rear sway and 17" enkei's make for an extremely agile combination that also rides well.

Well, from what I can tell it seems that there is a slight lack of tension on the spring and movement is causing it to strike the center tube, again ever so slightly but enough to make noise. Wrapping the lower portion should in theory increase tension and provide enough buffer to eliminate the noise.
The older focus springs had these from the factory and I've thrown away a million of them but don't see them so much anymore so I'll have to search the shop to see what I can come up with.
