LED Door Sills: Install advice needed, questions

Hello,

So I purchased some LED door sills for 10 bucks more than regular door sills (49.99) on ebay. They got in a little over a week later from China, without install guides.....(u get what you pay for lol)

So I looked up a CRZ OEM led door sill guide and its pretty cool but I dont have the nice connectors and a fuse honda puts in on its OEM stuff. Mine just has a + and - cable (black and red)

So what are my wiring options for longevity and safety to my stock wiring?

my ideas:

1) I already have the Honda illumination kit installed and was thinking to piggyback that.

2) In the Honda video they used the dome light for the install. What pieces would I need to do that and could I add a fuse to that setup?

any help would be appreciated....Thanks in advance

There's a thread in the lighting section that tells you which wires to use to connect to the dome light at the fuse box. That's what I did with mine. That way they are only really on when I have my door open (or unlock the car). If you use those wires in that thread, they do NOT come on if you use the de light switch tho, not sure if you care about that. I didn't use an inline fuse, it's a small led and I haven't had any issues. I've had other lights wired up to the same wires for over a year and a half w/o issues.

The plug under dash with blue and pink wires are the ones for dome light. Connect your sills to them. I forget which is pos and neg. If don't work just switch them.

Wow they look like oem ones. Hows the build quality? How did you end up running your wires to your fuse box? I might consider those over the ones I showed you. Though I still like the idea of LEDs in the rear door sills..

Door Pin Wires

If you use the door pin wires then only that door will light that door sill up.

Left Front Door Triggerblue-dash fuse box, green/white 49 pin plug, pin 33Right Front Door Triggerlt. green-dash fuse box, green/white 49 pin plug, pin 32Left Rear Door Triggerpink-dash fuse box, green/white 49 pin plug, pin 26Right Rear Door Triggergreen-dash fuse box, green/white 49 pin plug, pin 40

so there wasnt enough wire on the passenger side to reach over, and I wasnt sure which color was ground on the passenger side so I decided to crimp on the oem interior light kit. Even so I didnt have enough wire on the passenger side (came up 3 inches short. I'm thinking of extending it when I find some 22 guage wire.

In the meantime I have it pretty much installed. It goes through multi color (grew on me though I was hoping it would just be blue)

Literally just bought these and THEN searched it on here. Did that one backwards. I would have preferred blue led. Oh well, live and learn.

Post up some pics of these if you can. Thanks!
