Gray/ Light Gray Clazzio Install

So I ordered some clazzios in gray/ light gray (full PVC) from Clazzio.com.

I originally inquired through their website for color samples and with that I got a 20% coupon. So to my door was only $280.
It did take a couple extra weeks than originally quoted. They said 8-12 weeks and today marked 14th week. ( I was stressing around week 13 thinking that I was being scammed)
I got the package tonight after work and started the install. Got through the front seats in about 90 minutes. It was getting late so I decided to do the rear tomorrow.
Here is some pictures:
For reference I have a 2012 sport AT in ASM

Well so far the install has been pretty easy, I'll update when I install the rear.

Why not just show them off in here instead?

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...t-there-4.html

Anyways, your going to adjust them some more right? your clazzios look kind of baggy and not as form fitting as mine or others.

I was thinking the same thing. Need to be pulled tighter.

Looks good. Can you take some daytime shots after you get it readjusted? How do you think the light grey color matches with the light grey interior plastics?

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm trying to get them "more snug" but im not really seeing any difference.
I guess I was assuming they would stretch easier after a couple days.
Any tips?

As for the shade of light grey, it's pretty dang close to the upper interior panels.

The rear covers were installed today and it was much easier than the front.
It took about 30 minutes.

Something I was never clear on before I had the covers in hand was if the rear had the carseat latch holes or not.
Yes they certainly do!

I'm really enjoying the look and feel of these, definitely worth the price and wait time.
Also I did mean to post this thread in "interior mods" section but clicked this one by mistake.

How far down do they go on the back of the rear seats? I have the rear cargo cover with the snaps in the back seats

They go all the way down. If you didn't know you wouldn't guess they were seat covers.

I have the cargo cover also. Just took my little "button" on the back of the seats out, slipped the covers on, and then installed the "buttons through the seat covers.

No biggy.

No. Taking a picture of the back of my rear seats have never really occurred to me.

But seriously it looks just like yours now if you walked out and looked at yours. You know, except it looks like leather seats instead.

What are you confused about really? Did you install your cargo cover? If you did you should know exactly what I did. You know, it's done exactly the same way, just with the clazzio seat covers on.

Incase you didn't save money and didn't install your cargo cover yourself, you just do step 4, but with the seat covers on.

No problem buddy. Glad I could help.

Ps if you don't have the center console, you'll need to make a hole for the armrest.

What's the deal with these pictures? Every install of these has looked as though the covers are tight as a drum. These look flimsy and loose. Are they not installed properly or has the quality 'slipped'? There's no WAY i'd spend that money for the result I'm looking at here.

Maybe they'll tighten up a little after the car has been out in the sun a few times?

I have the same color 2012 and I'm really diggin' your color choice on the Clazzios. These are definitely on my short wish list and I'll probably end up with the same color combo you got.

I'm hoping it's the installer. (me)
Any suggestions or tips?
I've been following the instructions as well as I understand them.

^ hey buddy, why don't you try to tug down on the seat cover a little more. You should try to tighten up the corners a little then follow through with tightening the straps.

It might help. Mine went on like a secondary skin glove so I'm not sure how much help I can be, I can just give suggestions I guess.

My Install

I think my covers were on the same shipment as yours. It took mine 88 days to get to me. I installed them last night. I wasn't happy with my first attempt, but it still looked tighter than yours. I removed the passenger seat and really took my time getting to look good. I will fine tune it this weekend to get it as close to a perfect fit as possible. I am going to have to tuck some additional foam under the seats as they aren't stitched quite right. I'll do my best to post pictures of the final product.

They are Black Outers/Ivory Inserts/Ivory Stitching. The Ivory also matches the lighter interior panels well.

Use a heatgun and massage them a bit and the wrinkles will come out!

Ok so I spent another hour pulling, pushing and stretching.
I rerouted the cord going under the seat and feel like its much tighter.
Do the pictures show any difference? I can't tell

Looks perfect now! Yep, just required a bit more massaging it into place.
