New and hot trends of the future

Hi Fit Freaks,

What new or current hot trends to you see in customizing Honda Fits?

What would you consider a trend that its time has come and gone?

The reason I am asking is that some regions of the world are known for creating the next big or "in" thing. Here in Montreal I see very few Fits that are customized in any way. So I have to depend on other regions to gauge coolness.

I will compile a top ten of each category.

Cheers!

clean and stance seems to be the trend, along with hellaflush and all that. me, i just try and get my car low and keep it clean looking.

you say you see few fits, your seeing more than i am in the atlantic provinces. as far as i know, i'm the only fit, of either generation with anything done to it.

There aren't any tricked out Fits within about 40 miles of where I live.. Every so often I will see boxy little Scions with outrages offset wheels dropped low enough that the plastic body cladding is in pieces... People are more into performance mods to cars they can safely drive without fear of having them damaged when entering a parking lot by scraping or being rear ended because of having to come to a near stop and zig zag through intersections... On Saturday nights there is always a group of guys at a parking lot in town checking out the addition of new performance modifications under the hoods.. JCrimson has the most tricked out car around here and his car is no longer radically dropped and his wheels are only large enough to put over the racing rotors and calipers he needs to haul the monster down enough to stay out of the weeds.

wheels and rotors...

the other day I saw a Sentra drive by... I don't know how big the wheels were (at least 18? or more?)... but they were HUGE (the car looked pretty ridiculous). Then there were the brake rotors... so tiny, they practically disappeared behind the hub of a wheels. If I had to guess, the hubs (along with the rotors) were an inch or so smaller than ours!

All I could think was... that car is definitely not going anywhere, cause if it did... it wouldn't be able to stop there.
