Wheel Rub on 2012 Unmodified Fit Sport

I have a 2012 Fit Sport, unmodified, untouched. What I don't get is that I can feel and hear the wheels rub against something when I turn and break at the same time. This happens only to the front driver side wheel. A friend of mine also noticed it, so I'm not hearing/feeling things.

I'm not that heavy; about 180lbs.

I don't know what to look for =/

When you break and turn at any speed or certain speed? If you are going fast maybe the Pitch causes the rub. Can it be your strut leaking?

Happens mostly in the parking lot, so when I'm going around 5 to 15 mph.

What is this "Pitch"? I don't want to rule out my struts leaking because it's new and all But I'll look into that.

Just checked, no abnormalities with the strut. I tried the bounce test (is this even a legitimate test?) and it returned to normal position without bouncing.

Some more info:
Car has 604miles on the odometer
Bought @ APR 2012

Sounds like something to do with the brakes or ABS system. Even having no strut in there probably wouldn't create what you are talking about at such low speed, but you could look at the fender liner for rub marks.

Might be the splash guards (item 15) on the back. They might be too close to the rotors. Bend them back slightly. But it's warranty item at this stage; have Honda check it.

Pitch is when your vehicle nose is diving forward. But since your going such low speed I doubt its from your struts.

First, you have the stock wheels and tires? Did you buy it new or used.
Tell us what size tires you have and if the wheels are aftermarket?
While you're investigating, see if the car is fitted with spacers between wheel and hub.
Second, if thats all really stock as manufacrtured, find out if a inner liner in the fender has dropped down out of place so the tire can rub.
OK, maybe thats the first thing to check. Ditto, something foreign in the fender space.
If those are OK you need to visit your dealer.

Had mudflaps do that on a diff car. They would hit the ground making a rubbing sound.

Pinoyboy. what you described is very similar to what happens to my 07 Accord. It happened since the beginning when it was brand new. No aftermaket wheels or tires either. We never figured out what it was, but it drives fine to this date.
