Hi, I'm finalizing my order today for a new 2012 Fit Sport. Among the dealer-installed accessories I've chosen is the armrest / console. I plan to install Clazzio leather seat covers in the near future. Some of the posts here talk about the complications of installing the seat covers with the Sport's stock armrest. That makes me wonder if installation of the Clazzios is even possible with the dealer-installed (larger) armrest / console in place. Can anyone please shed some light on the subject? Thanks!

 

the stock armrest is attached to seat.

the accessory armrest is not, and it won't be in the way.

 

If you have the stock armrest attached to the seat, you'll be able to install the Clazzio's. It comes with the arm rest cover and instructions on how to install the cover.

As Goober said, the accessory armrest console won't be in the way. Either way you'll be fine. Congrats on your new Fit!

 

I've got clazzios and just installed the armrest a few weeks ago. No problems.

Anyone else have this combo? How do the vinyl colors match between the center console and the seat covers?

 

Clazzios go in pretty easily, I just left my armrest off my driver seat as its pretty worthless to me. They fit very well and are worth every penny, however I wouldn't get the leather ones, as there is not enough leather in them to justify the cost increase. Also remember if you order custom stitching color it takes 8-10 weeks to get them in.

I have had my front clazzio covers on for about 4 days and I love them, doing the rears this weekend when I relocate my amplifiers.

 

I agree and to be truthful, the PVC looks like leather. Anyone who's seen my interior has commented on the "leather" seats.

 

If you have any mechanical ability, installing the center armrest yourself is the way to go (just a few bolts, screws and drill two holes). It saves a lot of money. Though if you havn't done anything like that bevore, it would be best for the dealer to do it.

Also, you guys are making me seriously consider the clazzios....

 

Clazzios are the best mod I've done on my car...bar none.

 

Can somebody post a picture of the rear seats from the cargo area with the Clazzio covers installed? Do they cover the carpet or just the top and front of the seat?

 

The backs are full. They go right down to trunk floor.
