abs light and wheel sensor replacement

So I've replaced both wheel speed sensors in my fit a few months after having the wheel bearings replaced.

I went about it replacing one at a time. Right side replaced at honda: no dice. Light still one because of the left side (according to service advisor)

I replaced the left one myself this morning. Light still won't go off. (Disconnected battery)

I will say the mounting tab of the sensor isn't perfectly flush to the knuckle, enough room to fit a screwdriver and pry it out. I found it hard to push it past that point without a soft mallet (which I didn't use).

Any advice on why the light might still be on?

I still say that one of your bearings was pressed in backwards. Although they fit both ways, the pickup for the sensor is only on one half. Happened to me.

No way to confirm this without taking out the knuckle?

I personally don't know for sure, but from what I've read, the seals on each end of the bearing are different colors: brown goes inward / black goes outwards. Hopefully that helps at least figure out which side (if not both) needs attention. Good luck.
