Fit Questions (struct tower bar, intake and more!) by newbie

The dyno chart for the GE Fit PRM intake is posted on these forums in a very long thread that started in 2009, and the same chart can be found on the PRM web site. 11 whp is real, whether you can feel it yourself or not.

If you really think an intake can add 10% more horsepower to a carthere has been a mistake/error made somewhere! Don't believe everything you see on the internet!

The ECU on these cars work against exhaust or intake changes... Reducing rotating mass and un sprung weight by installing lighter wheels and tires will do more for you than about anything else... Even with a supercharger and numerous other performance parts and modifications I can feel a big difference in acceleration between light wheels and tires and heavier ones.

Could not find dyno chart of GE8 Fit PRM intake at the PRM website. Gerry at PRM sent me one though. It showed 6 WHP. Here it is:

You are shown a chart documenting 6 WHP. Could you please show a dyno showing 11 WHP?

Being able to have a horsepower gain over stock for as much of the power band as the chart shows is pretty decent... JDMchris and a few other people have said that the PRM Filtered intake is the best one going... At one time I was thinking of getting one for the intake pipe for my supercharger and run a flex hose from the grille to it... I might do it after I put my new bumper on it and run a hose from the drivers side up to my intercooler since the scoop on the cowling isn't bringing enough air through it.

So what are the best suspension mods to make to the GE8? The biggest need I see right now is the steering lacks sharpness - generally a Struct Tower Bar fixes this but now I know about a bracing in the front, near the pavement. What are the best suspension mods to make based on the most positive impact and value for the dollar?

The answers to all of the questions that you have posted here and on other forums are in many forums discussions. You just need to have the brains to look through the already published information and find the answers---------
INSTEAD OF CONSTANTLY POSTING QUESTIONS THAT WERE ASKED AND ANSWERED YEARS AGO.

I'm just here to ask if they make these for GE? I highly doubt it but if they did i'd buy a kit in a second.
I've found struct tower bars help out a lot more in older cars with old chassis design and even better when they're high mileage. I wouldn't bother putting one on a brand new Fit that already has a decently stiff chassis. IMO most of the bracing in general for the Fit is just bling and completely unneeded. No three point, no care.
Leave OP alone, I don't think he's from here (the internet, or America).

Just because he lives in Wilson, NC, doesn't mean he's from America.
Let me rephrase. Doesn't mean he was BORN in America. If he says otherwise, carry on.
