Less than 100 miles and can;t stand the seats!
I just purchased a Fit and can not bare the seats. I don't get it, they are worst than sitting on a sheet of plywood. The problem stems from too much pressure on the upper thighs. I am sorry I did not notice this on the test drive. I just got out from a 45 minute drive and my legs feel like I ran 10 miles!
I am not sure if previous years are this bad but does anyone else with a '12 Fit have these complaints? I tried many different seating positions and nothing helps. Does anyone have experience with the Cazzio seat covers helping?

I have an 08 and never had any comfort issues. How tall and what weight are you? I don't think the seat covers would solve the issue honestly. However, you may want to look at fitting something like Civic Si seats.

I have a 2010. First month, the seats took a while to get used to. Now I actually prefer them, but some people just don't like the fit seats. Not a whole lot to say about it. If the problem were lack of thigh support, there's a way to raise the front of the seat up. You could try doing the opposite and add a washer or two on the back of the seat rails.

Im 6'3-ish and have an 09 and dont have any issues. Did a 12 hours non stop wangan run and a 12 hours run back home over a weekends and it wasnt so bad.
Trying sitting upright, I find when I try to gangster lean like I did in my old VW things get uncomfortable.

From what I can tell the rear of the seat feel fine, my back touches most of the back support. I also noticed the bottom of the seat is very short, it seems to not support as much of my legs, like I am sitting on the edge of a chair feeling.

Not a very helpful post K20! I have been happily driving Japanese cars for 20 years and the best seats I have experienced are from Lexus.
Thanks for the helpful advise!

Yeah, i'd say they're not super comfy really, mine got better with time. I do 8-10 hour roadtrips almost monthly and don't really have any problems.
I find my seating position is really different from how I usually have it in just about every other car i've owned though. I have to sit very upright to be comfortable at all. I usually put a G-lean on my seat because i'm tallish and have long arms but it's a no-go in the Fit.

I can sit in my office chair all day, my home office chair all night and drive the Lexus for 5 hours to LA and I have no problems with any of those. I drive to the store in the fit and immediately have issues.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I will try a couple ideas like raising the rear or adding the Clazzio covers which other members said really help with the issue I am having.
And BTW, I love everything else about the Fit! Back in '06 I was in Thailand and a friend there had a Jazz, I immediately though America should have little cars like this and I believe in '07 we got it. So finally I picked one up!

I have Clazzios and no difference in comfort really.
BUT a couple things you can try
1 - Raise front of seat. Put two or three washers under the front rails. The front seat bolts come out easliy
2- Put a spring on gas pedal. I found a lot of leg pain from trying to hold foot up off the gas pedal https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...rn-spring.html

The Clazzio's won't help with height, but they will make the seats a bit more plush and help with pressure points.
The seats really didn't bother me much prior to to adding the seat covers. Congrats and enjoy your new Fit!
