Buried parking light bulbs
Why are the headlight & turn signal bulbs ridiculously easy to change, but the parking lights are buried in the far corner of the headlight ass'y? I don't even want to think of having to remove the bumper to get the headlight housing out. Any way to avoid it?
Planning a total swap to V-LEDs, maybe add HIDs later on. I also like the idea of adding the "missing" map light to the plan. A little touchy cutting into the headliner, at least the outline is pre-molded. And I understand the screw mtg. points are already in the roof sheetmetal, just cut in the housing and fish a power lead from the dome light.

Hum???
All the bulbs are easily accessible without removing the bumper.
The only bulb that is inaccessible is the fog light, and that's only if you have the Mugen front lip installed (since it locks in the once easily removable housing).
GDs had issues with the headlight itself, but opening up the fender liner was what was required, not removal of the housing.

May have to borrow a spider monkey to get at it. I can barely see the socket, I'll give it a try, but that corner is way tight. Forgot to mention this is on an '09 base Fit. No fogs, stock bumper.

GE8 LED turn signal resistor install
OK, next question.... what's the best way to install a load resistor into the turn signal circuit to avoid hyperflashing? I'm seeing large, hi-watt resistors being used, and not looking easy or pretty to do. Really want to avoid chopping into the factory wire harness. The OEM flasher is built into the instrument cluster, non-removeable?

Now I see what you mean! Was messing around in the dark, not the easiest to find, but in daylight not bad to reach 'em. Managed to get a shot with my cell phoneConnector.jpg photo - Gary Kitchen photos at pbase.com
