Pulled the trigger on rims/tires

So after my latest issue aka car wreck, I had planned on buying new tires anyway but I decided since I had some extra cash I went ahead and got new rims also. Here is what I got;

4 - 205/50ZR/16 Continental Extreme Contact DWS
4 - MB Mesh X 16x7 rims

And here is what the rims look like.

Cannot wait, should have my Fit back on tuesday/wed and new rims and tires by friday just in time for spring break!

I'll be sure to post pictures after I have my baby back and cleaned up with the new rims and tires.

Looks nice.

Never thought of it but photoshop is definitely the easiest way to get a 5-lug conversion on the fit.

Nice wheels, and excellent choice in tires. I just switched to the Continental Extreme Contact DWS myself and love those tires, Changed my Fit dramatically for the better in handling, ride, noise, and in the wet. Stock Dunlops were total crap after you drive the Continentals just a few miles in the rain. Enjoy the ride!

I know.

Couldn't resist... saw a comic once of a Doctor that said to a patient; "yup, looks like the x-ray says you've got a broken bone... but don't worry, we can touch that up with photoshop"

Did you chop in 17 or 18" wheels? Cause it looks a bit goofy.

No the rim photos are at an tilt so it looks off, it's just a general idea. Rims/Tires should be in tomorrow, I am picking up my fit today or tomorrow.

Be sure to weigh the combo (wheel/tire) before and after to see what the difference is per corner.

Yea I was most interested in the weight difference... how come very few wheel makers or sellers bother to list the weight.

Because they're usually embarrasingly heavy or they're not marketed to people who really care about how much they weight, the ones that are lighter/quality and more motorsport oriented the weight can usually be found easily online.

WheelWeights.net - Database of Wheel Weights

Download the Excel file there (no virus, don't worry) you'll find a shitton of wheels. You might even have to Ctrl+F to find the ones your looking for.

Looks like most of MB's 17" offerings are 20+ lbs

DISCLAMER: I have no idea how accurate that list is, they say they got the info from Andy's Autosport.

I wasn't concerned about weight to be honest I knew I was gonna take a small hit to MPG with the new rims so meh. You can see my other thread for the first two pics of the car since I got it back.

Probably don't weigh much more than the stock wheels (maybe 3 lbs or so idk how much the stocks weigh?), I doubt you'll see a huge difference in mileage. I saw them in the other thread, they look nice, congrats.
