Wheel Idea

So on my budget I cannot afford new rims, as much as I want a set of Bronze 5 or more spoke rims. For now I decided to try something and I photoshoped the idea to get some feedback.

Bascially it's Plasti-Dip spray (black) with 1/4" red pinstripe on the outter edge of the rim. I have looked around and it seems a nice viable option for cheap about $30 total for all the materials, then it's just my labor to do them.

Here is the image of what they MIGHT look like, this IS photoshopped.

Also as you can see from my sig, my car is BBP.

So thoughts? Feedback? I plan on starting this not this weekend but next.

It's doable--there are a few vids on youtube on this exact thing.

looks sharp.. the hardest thing to do is going to be the pinstripe..
I would try to make a template that you can lay over the wheel to try to get the roundest pinstripe

I have done pin-striping in the past, so it won't be that hard as long as I let the plasti-dip cure it's full duration before doing the stripe.

are those red lines still considered cool? kinda played out...

i would just keep it stock or paint the entire wheel gunmetal/matte black.

Correction: I don't know about black/red wheels on a dark purple car.

That on red would have looked great. Maybe gunmetal with silver pinstripe?

Needs a little more contrast - not black on black. Maybe gunmetal like what this guy did to his stock rims:

i added the pinstripe a while ago (maybe 6-8 months). no issues w it yet. plus, if i decide one day i don't like it, it comes off in two seconds.
