oil changes

I am very consistent of changing mine at about 20% MM, considering the oil and filter are relative inexpensive comparing to engine work if needed. Just a peace of mind. I have done the same for my 98 CRV (no MM, but every 5k miles in this case) which is 160k and still going strong.

Yeah I think 15-20% is a good rule, the only thing I haven't done with my fit is the MM suggested I change my filter at like 28k miles, but it looked pretty good still I didn't bother changing it, plus I wasn't sure I might go with a intake kit in a little while. I don't live in a dusty area though so it's ok to go a little longer on it.

Same here, love to get a CAI for it, but it only fit MT not AT. I could not see how an intake can impact the tranny. Well it turns out the size of the CAI does not fit with the AT configuration because the tranny takes up too much room in the engine compartment. Considering fabricating one myself. Did that for my CRV with a K&N cone filter. It runs really good and the hiss sound is really cool when you push it hard.
