Visor Fitment Question

I think I was one of the few people who actually bought the carbon fiber B-Pillar trim. Honda says that it's not compatible w/ visors... Any thoughts/experiences/ideas?

God, I wish I had found this forum before I bought my car....would have had a better idea of what kind of build I was planning instead of going wild w/ the accessories.

You could get the replica visors. They're held on by 3m so I'd imagine the b pillar wouldn't make a difference

Probably right. Kplayground has replica mugens for like $70 or so. Thinking about grabbing them.

Since that trim is an accessory, couldn't it be removed?

Guess I should clarify that I wanted both

Do the replicas attach to the B pillar? If so would the extra height of the b-pillar trim throw off the fitment?

Get a dremel and a sanding wheel, pull off the trim and cut it to where the visors will fit.

Took the words out of my mouth. Measure, measure, measure, and then cut, haha. You can make it look clean with a good, contoured, finished cut. I will say that the factory visors are a very good fitment. I'm not sure about the aftermarket solutions, so I can't give you any help there, unfortunately.

EDIT: There's also the option of selling your pillar trim and going with a vinyl wrap on your factory pillars. You'd still have the carbon look and they wouldn't be too thick for the visors, if that's the route you wanted to go.
