taller tire 195x65x15 clearance?

I have an 09 Fit Sport.
Has anyone put a 1 inch larger diameter tire on their Fit?
To improve ride comfort I want to buy 15 inch rims and
use 195x65x15 tires.

Will there be any clearance issues when turning the steering wheel?
I know my speedo and odometer will be off a bit but that is okay.

Tire rack says stock 185x55x16 is 24 inch diameter. The 195x65x15 would be 25 inch diameter.

Michigan has very rough roads so that is why I do not want the 55 or 60 profile tires.

The rim I want to get is 15x7, so with the width they suggest a 195 over a 185 width tire.

Thanks

It's going to depend more on the wheel offset than the tire if you're at stock height. If you keep the offset around +40mm you should be fine.

I run 185/65/15 on stock steel wheels with lowered suspension and I have no problems.

I'm running the same size wheel/tire combo for my winters... however, i'm not lowered. That puts us about 1/4" +/- higher off the ground. OP, you should have no issues if you aren't lowered. Remember though, your odometer and speedo will be off by a bit so make sure you adjust your speed when driving to avoid tickets. you'll be somewhere around 3mph(iirc) higher than what your speedo says at 60mph.
