Talking Got a bike rack..... Finally!

Ok I really haven't done anything to my fit since I got it, which sucks, but I guess I'll get around to buying stuff for it eventually.... Anyways I've been meaning to get a bike rack for it since I first got it.... I looked around for a while and decided that a hitch rack would be best for me... So I decided to sell the roof rack off my civic (which rarely gets driven now ) and I finally got around to ordering a hitch rack. I've only had it for a day but I love it, it's gonna save my interior, because it was taking a beating from throwing my bike in there everyday and also there's alot more extra space inside now, which is really handy since I end up going to Austin alot and need extra room for luggage and what not... I Also had to get a hitch (obviously) which I got from a local shop, the hitch is a Curt, and the bike rack is a Yakima Highlite 3... lmk what y'all think...

Oh man, I was actually thinking about getting a hitch too so I can get a rack like yours. It must be really convenient to have the rack and the extra seats in your car. I don't really drive out far to ride that much, I just try and stay in town and ride from spot to spot but I can see how much you benefit from having one especially when riding with other people.

Your bars scare me cause they don't have bar ends lol. Do you like riding your chain a bit loose? I can't for the life of me stand the noise it would make on my bike, I love my chains as tight as I can get them.

Go for it dude! It's not a bad investment... And yeah it's really convinient, although it takes longer to put on and strap on the bike, opposed to just opening the hatch and just throwing the bike in there lol, but it isn't that bad...

Yeah I've always had slack in my chain, last time I put my wheel back on I rode it thight and it only lasted like that for an hr i just couldn't do it, and besides I've been trying to get crank flips.... Yeah as for the bar ends they fell out the other day... I feel really sketchy riding with out them because I've fallen on my bar ends before, and I don't want to imagine what would happen with out them lol

They hurt like hell, and will take a chunk of flesh... even through denim. On the flip side, you learn to fall less often.

That picture at the gas station with all three bikes makes the Fit look dinky! You didn't strap bikes to a car... you strapped the car to the bikes!

These are great rear-bumper tapper deterents too, for those of us with inner-city parking blues.

Sorry haven't been on in a while.... Anyways I've had the rack on for a few weeks now, and it's great!!! It's easy to get the bikes strapped on, and the built in cable lock is awesome, specially when going inside a store or getting something to eat and u have to leave your bike in the rack (of course I don't trust it being 100% theft proof, but it works!)
