I need help purchasing adapters

There's these wheels I want to buy but they're 5x120.65mm and I want a 20mm adapter. My question is how long are the stock studs? And do I have to cut them for the adapters?

This sounds like a terrible idea. But you can get adapters with lugs sticking out. they expensive doe. why not get a wheel in 4x100?

So $250 for wheels plus $250 in wheel adapters = good idea?

What wheels are they? why do you need 16x9 wheels?

So you're planning to spend $250 for unknown steelies? plus whatever it costs for adapters?

The fact that i never seen those wheels on a car before makes me want to get them. Size is good, and with 20mm adapters it'd bring it to 22 offset. I think it'll look nice.

Adaptec motorsports is the only company I know of that makes what you are looking for, and the minimum thickness is 35mm, in order to clear the lugnuts. VW adapters come narrower (the 20mm you referenced) however, since they use lug bolts instead of studs and lug nut they can get away with using big allen head bolts to fasten the adapter to the hub.

Long story short, you will end up with over $500 in wheels that are going to stick WAY past the fender. Unless you plan to do major fender mods it's going to look really, really bad.

This will not end well. The wheels offset stays the same, you are just moving the centerline outboard. And they are 9" rims. I have to see this lol

Just because you haven't seen them before doesn't mean they'll look good.

Trust me.

Is that a pit? If so, that definitely didn't end well once his jaws locked into place. Quick self neuter.

you want to run a 9" wide rim + adapter on the Fit? Get ready to do some fender rolling and pulling and running negative camber just so the wheels dont stick crazy far past the fenders.
