The DWS' are the best tire I've ever owned. Blow the stocks out of the water.

I have 205-50-16 Goodyear Eagle GTs on my car right now and it is a love hate relationship.... I am crazy about the traction but at 24Lbs each they are killing my fuel mileage and acceleration...One of these tires weigh 8 ounces less than than one 195-55-15" Cont Pro Contact mounted on a 15"x7" 41mm Enkei RPF1 wheel... As heavy as they are the Kosei wheels I have them mounted on still weighs a total of about 9 lbs less for all four wheels and tire than the stock wheels and tires.... I sure wouldn't want such heavy tires on a stock Fit with automatic transmission....Maybe I would if it was raining like hell.

Reading many of the reviews on Tire Rack for the DWSs, it seems they complain about the soft sidewalls that detract from handling. I wonder how these sidewalls compare with the stock Bridgestones and Dunlops. I can say that the Bridgestones roll over when cornering while the Dunlops are nice and stiff by comparison.

I haven't had the soft sidewall issue. Mine are beefy and stiff.

I've heard the same. That's probably why they are the same weight as the stockers, despite being larger.

What tire pressures do you run?
