so 2012 cargo cover will work on our cars for sure? i have a 2010, soooo iam safe with ordering a 2012 cuz i don't want to put the flap in.

i used them! i think it was the cheapest there, i ended up going with the 2012 model one, I hope it works!!! iam so exited for it to come in.

Looking at the instructions for both the 2012 cover and the previous cover with snaps, they look identical aside from the section about installing the snaps. As was mentioned before, the part number for the pre-2012 cover is: 08U35-TK6-110. The 2012 cover's part number is 08U35-TK6-111. They are different part numbers, but the new one doesn't have the flap with snaps on it. I'd give it a shot.

I have the 2012 cover, and once it's in place, it's in there pretty firm. I can see where the snaps would be useful in covering the small gap between the seatback and the cover, but it really is not huge; 3/4 of an inch, roughly. It's not like it stands out, and tint will hide it nicely.
