2012 Fit Buyers Check in!!! Welcome and Congrats!

Just picked it up 2 days ago, enjoying it so far. I'm afraid to park it anywhere. Paid 18.3k otd, 17.5k selling price. I'm shopping around for a few upgrades: nav/lcd/bluetooth head unit, bigger/nicer armrest, and some sort of storage bins/boxes for the trunk that I can shuffle to the magic seat area when I put my bike in. I might add a small, hidden safe somewhere to lock up small valuables like wallet, cell phone for when I'm out riding the trails. I'd like to mod the 12v cig lighter to remain powered at all times to charge my phone whenever needed.

Picked-up my new 2012 Fit Sport AT last Friday. $18600 with wheel locks...then the normal ttt and dealership fees. Was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be in the end...especially after getting totally screwed by another dealer on my first Fit.
PMM...absolutely incredible color for this car...especially with the metallic fleck in it.
Traded my 9 month old 2011 Fit Sport 5MT for this. 98% percent city driving here with too many stop lights at steep inclines on my normal routes. I know it's too early to judge, but I'm afraid there will be difference in MPG beteen the two. Was doing 32-36 mpg on 5MT. Time will tell.
The Fit AT and 5MT are two VERY different vehicles.

purchased my 2012 base model MT Fit from the dealership yesterday here in eastern PA. I chose Polished Metal Metallic for the color.
I turned down all the extras like extended warranty, etc. to get the low price. Price was $15,800 for the car and after taxes/tags/fees it came out to $16,969.
after one day of driving it, I'm really glad I decided to buy this car. Great ride, handles well and it's surprisingly fun to drive.

Ive had mine for 500 miles now, and I love it even more now! Still have yet to really get on it (giving it till 600 miles like honda says) but it seems like its got some decent pep! Cant wait to start modding it!

Beautiful car, best looking of the Fits. Well.....it looks just like mine except for the area of the transmission.
One thing we have been trying to get used to-when you stop at the light there is no engine sound. It is quiet in gear with the foot brake applied. There is no vibration and so you think the car has stalled.
Our Red Fit goes on its first long maiden voyage, around 500 miles. Curious to see the freeway mpg. In town it is getting 28-29 mpg. Wonder what the sweet spot speed will be to get in the high 30's on the freeway?
We also got the J D Power survey for new car owners. It listed all the possible problems. We have had none. The only area that we added was the problem with cross winds at higher speeds.

^^Just after a fill and doing a bunch of coasting, that number can be achieved. But it is not a realistic number. It's fun to see, but step on the gas and it will drop to realistic numbers. I've gotten 41mpg on the highway and in my book, that's a damn great number on regular gas. The real numbers are worthy of bragging rights too.

The bumpers are pretty cool... I think the circular piece is the automatic cabin temperature control?
#233
You are right, it's an automatic climate control, the bumber is like a smiling transformer robot

Picked up my 2012 metallic silver MT fit sport about a week ago. So far I'm loving it, definitely say it's a lot more fun driving MT over AT. The outside may seem small, but very spacious inside. Don't let the cover fool you! +dat40mpg
18,xxx OTD.
Good buy for me (:

Just picked up our 2012 base fit AT in vortex blue on 2/16/12 and have only put about 150 miles on it, most of them today. Love this car, and love the color. I'll post a pic after I have washed it. It rained the first two days we had it so it is already dirty Paid $17,892 OTD. Wish I could've done better, but Fits are in such short supply here in Texas that several times we visited the dealer they didn't have any base or sports in stock to test-drive. We had to put money down and then wait on ours for almost a week, but well worth the wait.

Very happy with my polished metal metallic Fit Sport w/ auto. It handles well, is very quiet, and great visibility all around. Getting used to parallel parking with such a short car and sharp turning radius. The car was 16800 before taxes and fees.

It is not the base model, it is on the mid-range model, the base model dont have signal light on mirrors and also no fog lights, no automatic control and other more... Well the full option of this jazz have a sunroof, leathers, and many more....
