5k linear spring is more than enough for street driving. Unless u see the track every single weekend IMO.

I've run 6k before on other cars (which were lighter than the Fit) and that seemed pretty soft even on the street. I've always liked 8k on cars that see street use but I guess personal opinion on what's a "hard ride" is different.
I wouldn't run 5k springs dumped on the ground, but that's just my opinion, take it for what you will. I'm not saying run spring rates in the teens for street use, but 5k seems low for a 2600 lb car that's dumped on the ground.
