How to open the door ?? Urgent !!!

Hi everyone, looking for help ASAP..

I parked the Fit in the lot for almost a week, since I drove a bigger car to Canada with my family.
Today, while I came and want to move the Fit, I found the Sh*t head tried to steal the Fit.
They damaged the key hole on the drive side door, I can't put the key in it anymore. for somehow, the power is out, means the remote is not working for it.

anyone knows how I can open the door without calling the lock smith??

please give me some ideas..

Thanks

I don't think there's a keyhole on the passenger door and only the base model has one on the hatch.

The only thing that comes to mind for the op problem is to use a Slim-Jim.

Call your auto club if you're a member of any. The service is usually free. If not, tow services usually carry Slim Jims too.

Yeah I can confirm only the base has a hey on the hatch, that's because since the base doesn't come with power locks you gotta open the hatch somehow lol sport doesn't have it because I guess Honda doesn't think its necessary

Same here Jamy. I guess we're SOL if the keyhole gets jammed.

forget about why the Sport doesn't have a keyhole in the hatch... it just doesn't. My guess is more for looks, since a keyhole is pretty noticeable there.

Base Fits (at least for 2010) don't officially come with keyless entry (though technically, all Fits do, it's just the FOB that is missing). If the dealer threw it in or you added it yourself later is a different story.

All have power locks, only the sport came with keyless entry until 2011 standard. The chance that you'd be in the same situation as the OP is extremely slim.

Right. So do I and I don't have a Sport model either. I can even say that mine came that way "stock" from Japan. Can you?

Btw. My Canadian LX model doesn't have a keyhole on the hatch.

I keep forgetting that you guys up there get another trim level that's in the middle. since the OP is in NY, he (we) have only the two options. which was either With... or without, a remote. (base vs sport).

I guess the logic is that if you have a remote, you won't need to unlock your trunk manually with one exception; your battery goes dead and someone breaks the manual lock mechanism in the one door with a keyhole.

IF the op could somehow pop the hood, and get to the battery, a booster pack would get him into his car, but it's a chicken/egg thing. gotta get into the car to get to the battery but need the battery to get into the car...

I looked at my 11 Fit base, which came with remote. There is only one exterior lock! What else have I missed? Mulling over how to get in but coming up blank except ERS. JIm 0311

I was working in a REAL BAD town when I locked the keys in my work van so I called my boss. By the time he arrived (with a slim jim), I had about 6 guys hovering around the van and NOBODY could open it WITH the slim jim...LOL
