@.@!!!

30k miles?!? And no wrench/service indicator in all that time? (even if it's 30k kilometers, that's still a lot).

Well, I suppose it's possible if its all light highway driving.

But, if you've had your Fit for more than a year, the limit is 1 year. If you don't get the light after 12 months, you're supposed to get it done anyway.

30K miles is not possible unless the car is only driven downhill.

30K kilometers is 18.8K Miles and even that sounds like a malfunction of the oil monitoring system.

Drive (very carefully) to a Honda dealer and have the oil changed and the system checked.

I don't think he is saying this is his first oil change. Just that he has never seen a service wrench. If oil changes previously done before MM reaching 15% life, then true he would have never seen a service wrench. Only the oil change shop would have seen the wrench while resetting his MM.

I'm about to hit 20k.. I'm happy so far cause my old VW GTI already had major problems off and on in that few miles.

My MM wrench comes on at 15%. Last oil change I logged approx. 6k+ miles till my MM wrench light came on again @ 15%.

the wrench light i read goes by engine rpm rather than milage so just follow wat the maintenance reminder aka wrench says.

my 09 has about 26K miles so not too far behind. i did an oil change last weekend.

I just hit 60k yesterday , now on my third set of tires. I've followed the MM every time, and it seems to be rolling around at about 11k per oil change. I drive mostly highway so I know that's why it is going so long between changes.

my 09' is about to hit 70k in about 1,200 miles.

ive noticed my fit has been running a bit sluggish lately. i gave it an oil change every 8k miles since new, with hamp oil filters and mobile 1 5w-20. i also wash and oil my prm air filter every oil change. dont really know why its being lazy...

also, ive never waited till the wrench came on. i dont even know what the wrench looks like.

Looks like...a wrench. Comes on every single time you turn the ignition on...no way you haven't seen it.

when you cleaned your air filter did you oil it too much? check the MAF.

I only oil the filter lightly as not to soak the element so I know its not the MAF.

I guess I never really looked carefully at the gauges when starting up but I do look when all lights go out and to see if cel or tpms are on. You're right the wrench is under the 0 on the speedo.

I've tried octane booster/injector cleaner. I think I should try another bottle.
