Bluetooth help for 2009 Fit
Hi, thank you for reading, and hoping to be able to assist me. I have a 2009 Honda Fit that I drive on the highway a lot, and I like to be able to use a blue tooth while driving. I currently own a Jawbone Prime blue tooth that I purchased in December 2010. The problem is I am always being asked if I have my windows open when I am using the blue tooth in the car, but I do not have the windows open or the radio on, but it appears to be "wind" they hear. I do not hear anything different on my end. My question is to all the fit owners out there, has anyone else experienced this problem or heard about this problem. I can talk to people inside my house without problems, but most of the time I am in the car. I would like to know the best blue tooth that I can get that will block everything out, and hopefully people would not know I am driving or on my blue tooth. Can you please help me. I would appreciate it. Btw not that it matters but I have an I phone.
Thank you

I have a Parrot minikit Slim that I used I also have a Garmin with built in GPS that I used for a little while until I got my Droid X2. At this point I just put it on the dock and it plugs into my stereo. works great for me.
I do like the Parrot with one exception. I had to shut it off every time I left the car as it ran on battery. The garmin (b/c it is plugged in) connects when I turn on the car (but I haven't used it in a little while.)
for an Aftermarket solution, I'd go with a hardwire Parrot kit. Maybe also something that can handle stereo music as well so you only have to hop in the car and go. No plugging at all for phone or music.

Thank you for the response. I am actually looking for advice about a blue tooth headset that goes in my ear, but that is when everyone thinks my window is open. Any suggestions on a blue tooth headset?
Thank you

Everyone has said that they like the audio from my Plantronics Voyager Pro. I think it's been replaced by the Voyager Pro+. It's the best earpiece that I've used to date. I tried the Jabras and didn't like them.
I'm currently testing the Jabra Journey (available only through Costco). It's not a earpieces but my wife doesn't like using those. It can synch with two phones and it has a motion sensor that turns itself on when I enter the vehicle.

I tried about four earpieces (and returned them) before settling on the Voyager Pro. I recall it was one of the most expensive ones at the time, but it was worth it.
