It does make more power with bolt-ons but just not enough to justify the money spent.

Look up user Sugarphreak and his dyno thread. He gained 2.1 whp from $3500 in parts.

i'd love to see a video of this, it doesn't make sense.

maybe it was an automatic impreza with a WRX emblem, and misfires in all 4 cylinders.

And yet, the link provided by silverbullet showed a car that gained 9.5 hp at the wheel in a little over a grand in parts (three parts total).

So, saying 2.1 from $3500 isn't that meaningful, if they aren't necessarily the best parts you can get.

My stock 08 Fit with 5 speed dynoed at 92 HP cold. I wish I ran it a few more times to heat up the oil and really see what the full gains of premium gas was. I have been looking into the ecu and Honda seems to have a adaptive ecu so any power gains will be de-tuned for mpg. You have to keep driving the car hard to keep the Hp level up. Honda has had adaptive timing and fuel control since OBD I called fuel trims. Tech - ECU Anatomy OBD I

Skunk2 is WORLDS from the best available.

JUNK2 is the correct phrase in describing it.

I said nothing in regards to them being the best in fact or even as my own opinion.

Only that what sugarphreak did, doesn't mean he did the best either.

This thread has turned into a effing joke... every attempt at settling the arguments is blown up and it starts all over again..

This is nothing against the OP. Do what makes you happy. In the end, all that matters is your happiness with what you do. Not everyone is going to approve of what you want to do. You just have to do what you think is best after making an informed decision. Good luck with what ever you decide.

720p? lolz listen to, ok y not get a go pro, let me use it ill send it back once i beat it otherwise its goin on a cell phone, but i dont believe its all power my fit is stripped pretty decently but its kool ill get a vid and when it happens ill post.

now y dont u address my issues of ur statements? (sounds like u donts knows whats ur talkins abouts) but any who my fit gained alot of top end with my boso pipes as well as my hks power shroom o' doom, but my low end has suffered greatly when i decided to run no muffler(i sound likes a motorcycle ). even if a 240 is slow, which its faster then ur daily civic, they dont weight too much more then a fit stripped, and has 150 hp and 155 tq from factory, with modds idk same to say they kept the 150? any way thats still 33+ hp more then us and even on the tq, so explain to me why u think a "227 hp" subaru distributing its power to all 4 wheels is fast? off the line ya its awd (if the guy can drive it, most cant) but while driving no, most wrx in sd are slower then my fit. i tried to go out today and find some but there are alot of cops out so wait till i start a thread with a cell vid, if i can get the 2 different programs to work....
