DIY lower mesh grille is an absolute MUST HAVE to protect your AC condenser. I prefer to use aluminum gutter guard instead of the plastic stuff, but attachment is basically via zip ties.

While you're doing that, you should consider upgrading the wimpy horn too.

Congratulations!

Think for yourself. I don't think there is anything that you need and must have but there are items that you might want. Compare the base with the sports model - that is easy way to see if you are missing something.

One thing that you might want to get sooner while the car is new are (all weather?) floor mats. Cargo cover... or some people may find a simple solution as a proper size cardboard box to put in the trunk space to prevent shopping items from rolling around and protect items from public view and sunlight

good luck!

i second the wiper mod!

also slap on a "FitFreak.net" decal. sets u apart from the random fit owners who simply got the car for fuel econ and space. don't know how many times i roll next to a brand new fit expecting someone to appreciate the work and craftsmanship of a fine tuned Fit...

only to see an old asian lady behind the wheel. :b

Have a look at College Hills Honda for ideas. They have genuine Honda accessories as well as many popular aftermarket items.

There's always fuzzy dice...

Decaldude.net he makes them here in va. He is on here as well if you want to pm him.

To the op.....tinted windows are first that's alot of glass for the sun to cook you through. Second an armrest because it is needed as well. Third a dead pedal to rest your foot while arm is resting. Fourth throttle controller because it adds go to the pedal or no go for more economy.

And DUMP IT

It's all about personal preference. There's no "must have", just "wanna have" and "nice to have." I recommend you get used to the car first then draw your own "have" definitions... Just my take... Good luck!

Yes to Bthasht's list above and I'll add Clazzio seat covers. Not sure how "needed" this stuff is, but all were well worth the $$$ and/or time to me (or I expect them to be based on reviews -- waiting on throttle controller delivery right now).

Oooo wiper mod coming soon!!

Of course I'll think for myself but it's like when I was driving a jeep there were mods I couldn't believe everyone didn't just have and if your new to jeep how do you know they exist. This is the best way to find out what everyone else is having fun with! =)

Tint that baby to protect your eyes and to protect your interior. Then window vents are a good one to keep the rain off when you have to go through a drive through.

Get a vision for what you want the car to be and take it from there! The options and modifications are endless!

Chrome bulbs are nice if you don't like the amber bulb in the headlight.

Pull the fuse for the daytime running lights.

Nokya Artic White headlights or Luminics Pure White headlights are nice too.

Installing a new stereo was a pain in the arse but well worth it.

Love my Swift Springs.

Agree on the tint 35% is perfect for me.

Mine is a sport though: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-progress.html

My favorite base on this site is: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...hotoshoot.html (maybe get some ideas here)

Thank you!!

And I agree, Tint is a must especially during the warm months. It gets hot real quick without it!
